What is a Refugee Family Reunion visa?

A family reunion visa is a category which allows partners and minor children to join their Sponsor (either a recognised refugee or individual with humanitarian protection) in the UK. Partners are defined as persons who are married, in a civil partnership or who have been living together in a relationship akin to marriage for at least 2 years prior to the Sponsor’s departure.
