Can extended family get a visa in the UK?

The Immigration Rules only cover partners and children under 18 who were part of the family unit before the refugee (or individual with HP) they want to join relocated to the UK. It may be possible to argue that other relatives – such as children over the age of 18 – should be permitted to join the refugee in the UK, but this would be entirely at UKVI’s discretion.
