The Times have released their Best Law Firms of 2024, which contains Latitude Law for the 2nd year running. We are one of just 250 law firms in England and Wales to make the list.

We were thrilled to hear of the safe arrival of Gemma & Ben’s daughter, Arabella. A little early but perfect in every way!
The team enjoyed a Chinese over lunch to wish Gemma well on her maternity leave.

We were delighted that our Managing Partner Gary McIndoe was ranked in the prestigious Chambers & Partners High Net Worth Guide 2023 for the 5th year running. This international guide recognises just 38 UK immigration lawyers for their work undertaking the complex needs of High Net Worth clients. As one referee states: “In addition to the expertise in handling UK inbound immigration-related matters, Gary has well demonstrated the qualities a business leader should have: he is inspirational and keen to develop innovative solutions to challenges and obstacles.”
After work, 4 hardy members of staff took advantage of the long nights and walked / scrambled up to Kinder Plateau to enjoy the fabulous views.
Victoria Waller qualified as a solicitor and the team enjoyed celebrating her success with a meal and drinks at Society.
We welcomed Anna Sullivan to our ever growing team as a paralegal. Anna has recently completed her Legal Practice Course at the University of Law and already has some experience advising clients on immigration matters.
Joel & Katerina attended the Private Client Modern Law Awards at The Rum Warehouse in Liverpool where in Latitude Law’s bespoke Document Management System had been shortlisted in the Best Innovation category.

The team had fun afternoon in Tatton Park, looking at the gardens and playing rounders.
Gary McIndoe attended the American Immigration Lawyers Association conference in Orlando and spoke on the topic of Remote Working In The Context Of Global Migration & Employment.
Gary McIndoe bestowed member of the Congress of CILS Fellows, one of less that 5,000 lawyers worldwide to be recognised. He was appointed by the Center for International Legal Studies in recognition of being a faculty member at the AILA / CILA conference in Vienna in March 2023.

Latitude Law’s bespoke client portal, Halcyon DocuMigrate was shortlisted for the Modern Law Private Client Awards in the Best Innovation category.
Following a full audit, Latitude Law were awarded the enhanced certification of Cyber Essentials Plus, the highest level available in recognition of our cyber security standards.
Latitude Law presented 2 different sessions of Navigating Visas & Immigration to a collective audience of 100+ employers hosted by University of Manchester.

Latitude Law’s entire casework team undertook half day training from prominent barrister Adam Pipe as part of the firm’s commitment to training and development.
After 15 years at Latitude Law, having joined from day 1, Maz Regan retired as Legal Secretary and began her well-earned rest from the workplace. The team enjoyed celebrating her new-found freedom with her.

Gary McIndoe spoke at the Center for International Legal Studies / American Immigrations Lawyers Association European conference in Vienna on Cybersecurity and Immigration Practice.
Latitude Law attended the LexisNexis Legal Awards at Grosvenor House in London as finalist for Legal Supplier Innovation category.
Latitude Law presented a workshop to students at University of Manchester, in relation to visa options following graduation. The workshop was attended by over 225 students, both in-person and via Zoom.
Latitude Law hosted a table at the Women In The Law dinner at the Midland Hotel, Manchester to celebrate International Women’s Day. Our guests included key clients, referrers and universities with whom Latitude Law is associated.
Jessica Lee qualified as a solicitor and team enjoyed toasting her success.
The entire Latitude Law team spent 2 days in sunny Lisbon as a very enjoyable team bonding visit.
