Can I join my partner in the UK?

To join your partner in the UK, they must be over the age of 18 and meet one of the following conditions:

• Be a British Citizen
• Been granted Indefinite Leave to Remain
• Have proof of permanent residence
• Have refugee status or humanitarian protection within the UK
• Has certain leave granted under the EUSS

You must also be either:

• Married or in a Civil Partnership
• Have proof that you have been living with each other for at least 2 years
• Be a fiancée or proposed civil partner, and plan to marry within 6 months of arriving in the UK
