We’re currently recruiting for a Bilingual Immigration Content Creator and Account Executive, with a passion for global mobility law to join our growing immigration legal team to support our expansion.
Latitude Law Solicitors (LLS) is a UK legal practice, regulated by the SRA. It was founded in 2007, and now operates from offices in Manchester, London and Brussels. We are recognised as a leading firm by Chambers and Partners, Legal 500 and Who’s Who Legal.
Our team currently consists of 16 legal professionals, supported by business service professionals at our sister company, Latitude Consulting Group (LCG). LCG focuses on introducing our premium immigration services to Greater China to facilitate the global mobility of the high-net-worth individuals and innovative businesses there.
The Role
As an immigration content creator, you will establish and increase the profile of LLS and LCG across both British and Chinese platforms, especially mainstream Chinese social media channels such as Red (Xiaohongshu), WeChat, Zhihu, and other relevant peer forums. You will work closely with both our legal and business development teams to familiarise yourself with all aspects of our immigration and mobility services for individuals and businesses, from answering an initial enquiry to congratulating clients on the receipt of their permit.
Your job role is to:
- Write, review, edit and update content for company websites, blogs, marketing materials and social media platforms, and ensure all content is delivered in the appropriate brand tone of voice
- Conduct regular research and interviews to keep up-to-date with changes to immigration law and policy, and learn more about trends, developments, and perceptions in global migration, producing reports for internal and external use
- Conclude industry research findings and produce reports and recommendations concerning marketing strategies
- Use social media to engage clients, respond to enquiries, and to promote company initiatives
- Explore and follow up with a client’s desired outcomes, carry out surveys and analyse client reactions to the product mix, price, etc.
- Work with management on new ideas to drive the business forward
- Carry out translations between English and Chinese
- Assist with immigration applications / case preparation across all areas of UK personal and business immigration law
- Respond promptly and professionally to all enquiries from clients or business partners and follow up on / hand over issues to ensure they are dealt with correctly
- Take regular business trips across the UK and overseas and attend events as directed
- Comply with Data Protection and Confidentiality guidelines and other company policy and procedures
- Carry out any other duties within your capabilities as required by the needs of the business
Requirements
- An internationally recognised degree with a minimum 2:1 or equivalent
- Good understanding of the demands for immigration products
- Excellent copy writing skills
- Constant experience of using social media to share knowledge and create influential content
- A good grasp of English and Mandarin Chinese language, both verbal and written
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- A pro-active, self-motivated and ‘can-do’ attitude
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional client service
- Ability to work independently and be a pro-active member of the team
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to maintain high professional standards of work, including when working to strict deadlines
- Willingness and ability to adapt to changes, e.g. working across multiple locations, working outside of normal business hours
- Ability to work across cultures, and get on well with different types of clients
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft cloud-based applications, Adobe creative cloud PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
- Right to work full time in the UK (Sponsorship may be available to the right candidate)
The following are desirable but not essential:
- A diploma in English-Chinese translation
- Test for English Majors-Band 8 (TEM-8) certification
- A UK degree in English Language and Literature, Law or Business
- OISC qualifications, e.g. Level 1, 2 or 3
- Post-graduate academic qualifications, e.g. Masters, Doctorates, GDL
- Post-graduate vocational qualifications, e.g. LPC, SQE
- Experience of working in a law firm or an immigration agency. We will support you to develop your legal skills through a process of mentoring, supervision and feedback
- Social media and content marketing work experience
- Excellent working knowledge of the mainstream marketing vehicles (incl. digital marketing)
