Can I switch to an Exceptional Talent visa?

You can switch to the Exceptional Talent category if you’re already in the UK on a Tier 1, Tier 2 or Tier 5 visas (in certain cases). However, you cannot apply to switch to a Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent) visa from within the UK and must leave the UK to apply from abroad.
